Judge Corona, show us your Fish

There is a Question about how CJ Corona acquired his Real Estate Holdings on his relatively modest Government Salary for the last 20 years.  The Philippine Senate is asking to review his Income Tax Returns.  By comparing his Income Tax Returns with his Property Holdings the Senate and the Philippine People would have an explanation.   An inconsistency in his Returns and his Property Holdings would unmask deception/fraud on Corona’s Part.  Corona is on “trial” and needs to offer “proof” that the means through which he acquired these Properties was legitimate means. 

That is easy to do, and the Philippines People and the Philippine Senate have a “Right” to know this.

For Corona to argue that they do not have this right is “childish” and tells me that he has something to hide.  His Lawyer states that the Senate’s request for Corona’s Tax Returns is a Fishing Expedition.  Corona’s Lawyers may think that, and maybe it is and what if it is, but the Senate and the Philippine People want to see the “Fish.”  If you want to hide them it tells me, the Senate and The Philippine People that you have something to hide.  And, a Supreme Court Justice, of any Free Country, should have nothing to hide.
